Here's my truth about this team and it's no more or less valid than your truth or someone else's truth.

This is a team of pussies. There is no one on this team with half the heart of John Stockton or even Karl Malone. Sloan does not know what to do with heartless players. Can you imagine any of these guys setting a pick like Stock or laying out Isaiah Thomas or causing the Admiral to suddenly become unconscious? I'm not talking about dirty, I'm talking about tough. I'm talking about pride, desire, and competitive fire. I'm talking about an unwillingness to be humiliated. This group has proven that nothing embarrasses them. They'll get punked at home by Minny, smoked by every playoff team and not bat an eyelash. Sloan isn't cut out to coach players like these guys. Boozer will stand around shouting like a badass but doing nothing else, Memo will just stand around and AK will dribble to the hole like he's 8 feet tall dribbling a huge medicine ball. D-Will will look awesome, make great moves but not quite pull them off or pull the rest of the team's pathetic arse's out of the fire. Sloan expects more from these guys than they're capable of giving. It's not that he expects too much, it's that he expects them to live up to a standard that has become outdated. And as such, perhaps he has become outdated. And it pains me to say that.

Long story short. This isn't the second coming. Get ready for the offseason.

See I agree with you on all of that except Williams. You watch as they pan through the players on the bench in a blow out and Williams is the only one that looks like he wants to kill someone. He drives the lane and no one does anything for him. I feel bad for the guy. He has a bench full of pansies for teammates. If Millsap had a little bit more touch I would say he's the answer, but he's not. Millsap's great, but the dude misses half his layups. He works his butt off, and if Boozer could apply half of Millsap's effort into his game he may be a hall of famer, but the Jazz just don't have a big guy that's gonna compete. Williams cannot do it all by himself. It's like if he's not having a fantastic game, we don't have a chance.

I don't really care if we face the Lakers or not. Right now, any team not named Hornets would destroy us in a 7 game series. There are a lot of things pissing me off about this team lately. Just to name a few:
Amount of wide open layups missed.
Boozer with the worst shot selection in Jazz history.
Worst defensive effort ever. In the 3rd quarter last night, Dirk shot about 5 wide open midrange jumpers one after the other. And they all just stood there and watched. Including our great coach.

This team will not go past the first round if something doesn't change. We can't ever make a comeback because we can't get one single defensive stop. Can't win in the playoffs if you can't stop anyone.

Random comments:

- Of course it's no Sloan's fault
- I agree with anyone that says this is a team of pussies (a couple exceptions...)
- "The thing" (you know who) has always took the same shots, has always had bad timing and shot selection; during a brief period of his Jazz career his bad shots were falling, but this days are over for good... AND he's one of the biggest pussies ever to play a sport... AND his mouth has as bad a timing and word selection as his on court abilities... AND I wisk KOC put a gun in this dude and force him to opt out, because as pussy as "the thing" is he will not opt out when his agent tell him he had an awful year....
- The Fesenko comment was no ment to atack Sloan; of course Fes' not the Mesiah of basketball but... why not to try? nobody else is giving $h!t to defend our zone...
- And finally... is there anyone taking account of the general performances of the guys Williams defend?

CALLING OUT SLOANFIELD!!!!!!!!!!

are you still pleased with your tanking strategy to avoid the spurs?? Now you have the Lakers in the first round.

Good Luck

No, Rockets or Blazers look like they'll be the 3 seed. 7 May still be good, because I'd rather play Denver than Portland (who has a better chance than Houston of getting the 3 seed). BTW, we are stil the 7 seed. We will finish with a better seed than Dallas, I'm not worried about them. Clown.

What makes you so sure that you will stay above Dallas? They are playing better basketball than Utah, and they have a more favorable schedule (3 of 4 at home). Whereas Utah plays the Lakers and Spurs on the road.

You will need to win 3 of 4 to avoid the 8th spot.
Good Luck, but sh*t happens when you root against your team (Sloanfield)

6. Dallas
7. Utah
8. New Orleans

dallas is looking alot more complete with josh howard back after injury problems all year. Dallas needed his defense and it seems like they're peaking at the right time.

No. Since we own the tie breaker, we would need to at least match their record to avoid the 8th spot. We only have to go 3 of 4 if they do. Which they very well might

I only rooted against us at first to avoid the Lakers until the WCF, then again to avoid SA in the first/second round. Yeah, that loss to the Wolves might F us out of a 3/6 matchup with the Rockets. But if it gives us Denver rather than playing Portland or SA, then it's all good.

And as I said before, I was cheering for the Jazz, but preferred if they lost. Get it right.

I still stand by my Jazz/Lakers WCF pick. Any anyone who disagrees with me, IS AN IDIOT!

Idiot?

You're the guy with a pic of Carlos Loozer at the bottom of your page. Anyone rooting for him and his wussy matador defense is the name at hand.

Besides, you're a Dodgers fan. 'Nuff said.
