Price is a better man defender
Price is quicker
Price can actually score
Price can shoot the 3
Price has far more hustle
Price can average 1 assist a game like brevin
Price is taller and more athletic can do more things then brevin
Price should be the backup guard maybe the offense wouldn't be total garbage in the 8 or so minutes the backup plays.
Brevin has good hands and is a smart basketball player but I think Price works way better with the 2nd unit. There needs to be more scoring off the bench for us

Korver,AK,Millsap is not enough add a guy like price who can score the basketball and it helps us a ton.

They are going to stand 3 feet off of him and its going to clog up our offense like the plumbing after a night at Beto's. We have seen it before with Brewer last year against the Lakers.

Ronnie Price at the very least stretches the defense, plus he would play with AK prominently and AK would serve as the primary playmaker for that squad. Again, the system doesnt require a playmaker at the PG position to be effective. All Ronnie would need to do is get the ball across halfcourt and than run routes and set screens which he does effectively.

I don't think we will play Houston first round again..but i agree what u are saying

Well, if you look at their assist numbers Brevin is clearly superior in that department. He averages 0.2 assists per minute (which means 8 per 40 minutes to give an idea), while Ronnie only has about 0.15 (roughly 6 per 40 minutes). Also, Brevin has a 2.84 assist to turnover ratio, as opposed to Ronnie 1.84. He scores less and shoots worse, but also attempts less shots than Ronnie - who himself has a .385 fg% for this season, not exactly something I would look for in a scorer off the bench. Actually, if you look here you'll see that for this season pretty much every stat, individual or team-oriented, has Knight ranked ahead of Ronnie.
Personally, I do like some of the things Ronnie brings to the table compared to Brevin, but I think his qualities are not good enough to make up for his shortcomings, especially considering what the role of the backup PG is when playing in a team such as the Jazz and behind Deron Williams. If he was a more efficient and consistent scorer I might agree with your ideas, but he's not that reliable. So, right now I'd still take Brevin, a very experienced player who won't score but will play under control, distribute the ball well, play decent defense, not damage the team too much while Deron rests. He'll be an offensive liability when challenged to shoot, but I'm afraid it's still our best choice.
I agree, though, on the fact that we sorely need something better at the backup PG. I guess that eventually we'll end up not giving our 1st rounder to Minnesota, right? If we keep that pick, that's probably what we should use it for.

Right now, nobody could play worse that Knight. DWill is getting NO rest in close games. Knight has been a huge letdown for me this season. He played very well at the beginning, but has certainly not grown with the team, in fact he has become worse.

At least give Ronnie another chance. He can at least create offense for himself, something Knight can't do at all!

Word is, South Beach is ecstatic that they
won't be seeing Millsaps talents again this season...

Consistent playing time is key if you arent getting minutes you arent going to produce regularly, price doesnt get consistent minutes, so that explains his poor shooting somewhat. Anything is better then Knight right now. Answer me this would you rather have Price taking a 3 to end the quarter or knight having a open 15 footer to end the quarter? amazing knight has been so traveled and not once did he ever learn to shoot at least somewhat.

I voted yes and no.

We were given the option to vote twice, and as an American, I believe in the right to vote.

The only thing that might change my mind is if we could vote 3 times.

Then, maybe.

I read this somewhere, it seemed true:

AK sucks. Harpring is more better.

Next week = Boozer sucks. Millsap is more better.

Week after = Memo sucks. FesKouf is more better.

Month after = Brewer sucks. His points don't count.

Next year = CJ sucks. Shoulda kept Mo williams so we could have an All-Star playing backup minutes.

We got robbed by exposing Sasha, He's way more better than Brewer, CJ, and Korver combined.

We never shoulda traded John and Karl to the Lakers.

Refs missed call when Jordan pushed-off.

Stupid kid stole my football when I was 8.

Mom gave my cupkake to my sister.

Santa didn't bring me jack.

nothing about RONNIE P. however, not sure why I thought it belonged here

Shoulda traded Dee for Luther Head. Then Deron would still have a college buddy.

I'm full of basic solutions. (Yeah, I'm aware of the obvious).
