As for the draft, take a risk. Go after a guy like DeRozan who needs time to develop but ceiling is high or even Aminu from Wake.
has the team completely tuned Jerry out? because i know in the past, Jazz teams would never have folded like that or is there no leadership?
I am not jazz fan, far from it...but something doesn't feel right without the jazz being a top team in the west. Loved the days when it was Blazers, Jazz, Spurs, Lakers, Suns all battling it out in the west.
Give LA hell!
I'd say on most teams DeRozean+ Aminu are a bit overhyped. Raw tweeners who need strength and yeet if they add 15 lb...they lose hops-which is most of what they have going. Hardly Sloan types.
Utah needs to find a sucker to take AK. I saw the GSW game. Azubuike could have scored 30 on AK who was usually left several steps behind. AK isn't even getting the blocks anymore and as a scorer...well.......
Millsap has less talent than Boozer but more heart and plays hard on D. Too bad Harpering's wheels are pretty shot. Much of his career he was way underrated. Okur is a great shooter. He does not really play that big. You need a PF who's a plus on D and a SF who's got a well rounded game and some intensity. Utah really can't transform into a contender for next season but can make it possible to bounce back in 2 yr. better at SF, some real SPEED at SG, some real frontcourt D wherever you can find it.
CENSORED... No comment.
