I want the Jazz to play the Lakers in round #1. If you know what I mean.

Rockets fans must really be scared of us if they're willing to throw games to ensure they don't see us later in the playoffs. If you know what I mean.

^^Moron!!

Yeah the Rockets are really tanking by winning 25 of there last 32 games to jump from as low as the 7th seed to possibly as even high as 2nd seed!!

If anything, I think the Jazz are tanking to try and get a possibly first round matchup with Houston. I mean lets be real here. The Jazz went 15-1 from Feb. 2nd to March 10th, including a 12 game win streak! Remember? Then there was all this talk about them fighting for not only HCA but a top spot in the West?

What have they done since?

They lost 10 out of their next 16 games including 3 games against non-playoff teams such as Pheonix, Minnesota, and a 7 man Golden State team.

Well it appears tanking has nearly backfired on Utah's behalf because they dropped all the way to the 8th seed and will likely face the reigning WC champs in the first round.

The Lakers are gonna look to send a message to the Jazz tonight. There is no way the Jazz come out on top in the Staples Center.

Yeah, let me tell ya, we've lost a ton of games recently so we can drop to a lower seed and play the Rockets. That's exactly why a couple nights ago when it was crucial to get a win to move up to the 7th or possibly 6th seed we go in and get smoked by the POS Warriors. Think about it.

Besides that, how could the Jazz intentionally drop to play the Rockets when the decline started around the same time as Houston started rising? Don't get me wrong, the Rockets suck against the Jazz, but no team in the league would rather play Houston than a team like Dallas or New Orleans.

Yes, the Jazz went from winning 15 out of 16 to winning 6 out of 16 in a pretty short time, but that's just the Jazz. They were much better off earlier this season because IMO they were a thousand times better than Boozer. Back then they had potential to go for a championship, now I'll be the first one to admit we'll be lucky to avoid a sweep in the first round. I don't think that a single person here will argue with you that the Jazz will probably lose tonight if the Lakers play.

Yes, that could happen, but its best not to think about it. You guys are getting 8th.

edit: j/k, its looking likely that you could steal that 7th seed. But like the Spurs, you don't control your own destiny

its official! You earned the 8th seed. You stayed within striking distance of the Lakers tonight. If you find some defense, you may be able to steal one in LA. I'm not sure LA was really even trying tonight though, they weren't playing for anything other than to officially claim the you as their punching bag in the first round.

Finish the season losing 11 of 18?? How the mighty have fallen

Rockets heartbroken again! Can you imagine, would have been 2 with a win provided Portland hangs on, playing the Hornets, who they totally dominate. Instead, they are about to be 5 opening up at Portland. I will be rooting for Houston until we are eliminated for the sake of an easier opponent even though we won't advance, then I'll root for Portland.

So Dallas, Denver, and Houston (pending an epic collapse) get to the second round and SA, NO, and we are out. Who saw this coming in October? Frickin' injuries.
