This trade could bring alot of value to both teams. Detroit signed Gordon to play the 2 guard and they could start Kirilenko at Power forward. Kirilenko also has 2 less years on Contract and Hamilton has 4 . Hamilton is the perfect 2g for jazz System and Maxiell could replace Millsap and allow the Jazz to stay under salary cap if Harping retires. The jazz could also throw in a future 1 round pick that is top 10 protected. I think a good trade for both teams.

Dont you think the Nuggets have allready got their privates? I mean they did not only get billups for iverson but we can't possibly forget about darko over melo.

The Billups trade had a reason. This doesn't.

Re: Kirilenko trade
Detroit may be willing to do it because they just signed Gordon and don't want to keep 2 high priced 2 guards. Also Kirilenko is a better fit at the Power forward Spot. If they can resign Mcdyess then they would have 3 solid players to play the 4 in McDyess, Kirilenko , Charle V. I really don't think they want to keep Hamilton for 4 years. I don't even think the jazz would have to include a future first for Detroit to do this trade. The Jazz could also decide to match Millsap contract then deal Maxiell to a 3 team. If Harping retires then the jazz could still be under the salary cap and manange to keep all 3 of our big men in Boozer, Milsap and Okur. Brewer moves to small forward. They could also add some low cost small forward like Noel and maybe Wes Mathews who plays on our summer leage team.

Let's be realistic, nobody wants AK and his contract.

QFT. And that includes Jazz fans as well.

Re: Kirilenko trade
Trade makes no sense at all for Detroit- they just signed a skinny 4 who doesn't rebound, and already have an offensively challenged 4 who blocks shots. They would far rather keep Maxiell than pay AK. More likely for them to package Thomas with Hamilton, and more likely for them to target a polished offensive post presence who rebounds, ala Boozer. I love it for the Jazz, though.

Add in that Knicks pick and then we can talk. If not, easy no.

Yeah the Pistons would laugh like all craziness at that, then just abruptly stop laughing, turn the other way, and start walking.

I posted the trade on the Detroit Board and got Crucified. I might be the only person that thinks this is a good trade for both teams.
