He's a great player, but it's been a long time since I associated Boozer with the NBA's favorite "A" word.
I think the biggest thing hurting Boozer's value is that he just reluctantly opted into the last year of his deal. He has essentially said: "Trade for me and you'd better be coming with a max offer or I'm gone." And it's not like any team would believe him if he agreed in principle on sticking around.
That, more than PER, Adjusted +/-, his injury history or Utah's cap situation is what's driving his trade value.
I'm not trying to bag on Boozer at all; I'm not convinced the Jazz are doing the right thing in apparently choosing Millsap over him, but I can certainly see why this Okafor/Boozer deal seems imbalanced at this particular time.
