Frick and Frack need to go!!!

Post#1 » by HolyToledo » Thu Jul 16, 2009 5:51 am

KOC and Sloan need to go today!!!

Mo Almond never got a chance to play then NYK tried to trade for him last year and Jazz refused to trade him or play him. What a joke. Now he is on the NYK for free where he will develop like Mo Williams, Sasha Pavolic, and Del Curry did whom are other players Jazz let go for nothing.

Mo Almond also criticized Jazz rigid offensive system saying it is refreshing and BBall is fun again when you can take an open shot when you have one.

Until Frick and Frack leave, Jazz have no chance. Oh yeah, we might have Haslem come in to save the day LOL.

Oh please, you think the success of this program EVER rested in the hands of Mo Almond of all people? Get a clue, he isn't built for the NBA or our system. There is a reason why our "rigid offense" does much better than whatever the hell the NYK are running nowadays. Let Mo jack up his open shots, he won't amount to much over there. He was better off in the D League...

Oh god how will I ever sleep at night knowing we let Sasha Pavlovic get away!

And are you trying to blame Dell Curry on either Sloan or KOC? He left after the 86-87 season. Good lord.

Mo Almond was the best shooter on the Utah Jazz roster and he will prove it in NYK. unfortunately once again proving Sloan cant coach young guys. KOC drafts pretty well but Sloan ruins these young guys with his frigid offense. In the Playoffs, other teams know what Jazz going to run before Jazz do it. Basically, the Jazz are running the a college football version of the option. Here itcomes try to stop it, problem is this is professional sports and they will devise a defense to stop it and have stopped the Jazz especially in the playoffs when they have time to practice therefore.

I have been tough on KOC on this board but maybe no GM can do anything in Utah when Sloan and the conservative ownership doesnt allow him to be innovative.

It is easier to attack the message instead of responding to the message which is Jazz can never win it all as long as they practice their conservative style and are happy being a middle of the pack playoff team.

I remember when Frank Layden was trying to get Jazz out from being one of the worst teams to a champion contender he said he did not want the Jazz to be the Milwaukee Bucks, a team that makes the playoffs every year without any chance of winning it all. Frank Layden was right in this regard. The Jazz of today are the Milwaukee Bucks of yester year.

It's very easy to attack the messenger.

edit: I'll just leave it at that.

Sasha was taken in the expansion draft by charlotte who then dealt him to Cleveland. This in turn made us go after Boozer....Would you just step away from the computer already.

I think Toledo there is a difference between taking chances and making stupid desperate moves. The Jazz have not and never will be a one year shot team. They took a chance on signing Boozer Memo and Ak to bigger than normal deals all in one year, and we know that was a gamble that in two cases paid off a bit. Memo ends up being a decent center that's a lot cheaper than most, and Boozer (say what you will about him) had two all star seasons. Plus they took a chance giving Millsap a shot when all 30 teams passed on him once and many others a 2nd time and they gave him a deal almost instantly after coming to Utah. Idiocy vs smart thought out chances is a no brainer. And just so you know only 1 team out of 30 gets to take home the trophy every year, so its not unusual for a team to go a long time without a championship.
Boozer the Loozer.

You could argue that during that summer the one move that was not perceived as a risk was giving Andrei that max extension. Most people saw a very different career arc for AK than what we've seen since then.

LOL, defensive stopper. Didn't Austin Daye aka the least NBA ready prospect in the entire draft just put up 27/13 on his ass.

What a dumb thread. :o

All I can say is if Mo Almond is the Knicks' starting SG this year I'm feeling great about our Knicks 2010 draft pick.

I have tried to respond to the message 1000x with you and I'm **** done. You are the dumbest most idiotic person in the long and impressive history of internet message boards. Never at any point do you ever make a point that is interesting, insightful or though provoking in any way. Your contributions consist of thread after thread of off-the-wall ideas or outspoken complaints that very few if any of the respected/well known Jazz posters on this board ever agree with, and usually ridicule you for, and which are either beyond the realm of reality or completely and utterly mind-numbing in their sheer volume of stupidity.

You=fail @ life. I am sick to death of seeing your sickness spewed out over this message board. Just go away, please. For the love of God go find someplace else to fulfill your irrepressible need to brain f*ck yourself and everyone who will give you the time of day. You're not wanted here. No one cares if you live or die, and everyone would celebrate if you would just disappear and never come back.

It always cracks me up when I find people that profess to be Jazz fans but hate Sloan. It is easy for us cyber basketball experts to take pot shots, but if you don't respect Sloan for his integral role in this franchises success over the years then you need to find a new team.
