5 Team trade idea

Post#1 » by Shocker00 » Wed Jul 22, 2009 5:04 am

Utah Tades:
A Kirilenko
C Boozer
M Harpring
CJ Miles
K Fesenko

Utah Gets:
T Chandler
S Battier
J Richardson
Jazz save 8 million in cap space + 8 million in Luxury tax = 16 million in savings

Chicago Trades:
T Thomas
J James
Cash (1 Mill)
Future 1st rd pick

Chicago Gets:
C Boozer
Cj Miles

Houston Trades:
S Battier
C Laundry

Houston Gets:
T Thomas
J James
K Fesenko
Future 1st rd pick

New Orleans Tades:
T Chandler

New Orleans Gets:
C Laundry
M Harpring

Phoenix Trades:
J Richardson

Phoenix Gets:
A Kirilenko
Cash (1 Mill)

Utah does this because:
They get out of Kirilenkos contract, Jazz save 8 mill in cap space wich = 16 million in savings,

Chicago does this because:
They want C Boozer and they will also get a SG Cj miles to help out since Gordon is gone.

Houston does this because:
Houston gets young talent to start rebuilding with in Thomas and Fesenko, also Houston needs a center, They get the insurance on James saving them some money, they get a future 1st rd pick.
New Orleans does this because:
They get Harprings expiring contract, and they get C Laundys cheap contract saving them about 3 mill in capspace plus 3 million in luxury tax

Phoenix does this because:
Phoenix trades one bad contract for another one, but Kirilenko fits in better with thier plans. Thay also get 1 mill to help compensate for the difference in contract price

Jazz Roster:
D Williams/Price/Maynor
J Richardson/K Korver
S Battier/R Brewer
P Millsap/M Okur/K Koufos
T Chandler/M Okur/K Koufos

We are much better defensively but weaker offensively, But with good defense we should get more blocks and steals creating more fast breaks for easy baskets.

Flame Away!

You'd have to send the Bulls 1st to Houston instead of the Jazz and the Rockets probably still wouldn't do it. Overall, it actually makes a lot of sense. I expected it to be a lot worse with so many teams involved.

It would give the Jazz a nice combination of defense/offense and we'd still have a pretty good bench. We probably would start Memo at PF though.

Deron/Price/Maynor
Richardson/Korver
Battier/Brewer
Memo/Sap
Chandler/Kosta

Houston FANS need more, not sure on what the houston team thinks but add more to houston and maybe. Im usually against big trade but the 5 players we send out arent that needed.

You should copy and paste that into the trade board. I am sure some fan base will feel slighted but as far as 5 team trades it's not bad.

I kinda like this too

I would love it if we didn't have to trade AK and we landed Landry in the deal also. Maybe ship J-Rich to Houston and Landry to Utah and CJ to NO? Dunno how that works out though.

And right into J-Rich's contract! FAIL.

There's no way they give up Battier and Landry for the pu-pu platter.

If Houston wants young talent why would they trade Landry for Thomas. If you polled Houston fans, coaches and FO people, I'm guessing they would all take Landry over Thomas. As for Fesenko, no one besides some random Jazz fans think Fesenko is a promising young talent to build around.

Its the Bulls that don't do this. They may possibly get Boozer without trading a future 1st round pick.

But the general premise of the whole situation looks nice. Seems the Jazz make out like gang busters though so i doubt highly other teams agree to anything similar to that.

I think the basis for this trade is the Tyrus Thomas, Jerome James for Boozer swap that has been well-discussed and oft-proposed by Bulls fans. So I disagree that the Bulls wouldn't do this. Why would they not essentially trade Thomas for Boozer?
