Well per 1320kfan KOC was suppose to join them for an interview but will be unavailable due to a meeting he needs to attend. Possible deal going down soon? If not at least there are signs of him getting into serious discussions and doing his job.

Out of curiosity, how do you guys rate Boozer as a passer?

That could be easily arranged. Jerome James, Ty Thomas for Boozer. Cut out Houston.

He actually is a pretty decent passer out of the post.

I'd say he's above average. He worked well with Brewer and got him some easy buckets because of his passing.

I wouldn't expect anything on the Boozer front for awhile. I expect teams to try and low ball us at the beginning (hence the Haslam rumors). The best thing the Jazz can do is be patient and wait for the right deal. Making a bad trade just to make a trade is the absolute the worst thing the Jazz can do.

In terms of timing, do you think O'Connor would let this go into the season? Better to get it done before training camp for team chemistry reasons. I don't think Sloan would be pleased if he were to be repeatedly bombarded with questions about Boozer's status. Also, if you guys wait until the deadline, then you will have paid Boozer half his salary, or $6.3 mm.

Looks like the Jazz is going to be patient and not make a trade unless it makes the team better. I like this because I dont think that Boozer should influence the Jazz into a bad trade. I also dont think the Jazz should give a **** where Boozer ends up. Why should the Jazz trade him to Chicago or Miami just because that where he prefers to go. Take your time and make the best trade regardless where it is.
