Opportunity knocks. With the new Russian owner in New Jersey, Kirilenko and the last two years of his salary go to NJ for expirings of Rafer Alston and Bobby Simmons alsong with the keeper contract of Brook Lopez. Another twin at center for the Jazz.

We'd need to throw in a lot more to get Lopez. We'd have to go Toledo and trade the Knicks pick. For Brook Lopez I would not complain. I like the idea of Lopez, Oden, and Bynum all in the west.

The Nets are not trading Lopez, unless we way overpay to get him. Something like Boozer, Brewer and the Knicks pick for Simmons and Lopez. Also, they can sign AK in 2 years. They're not gonna give up 17 million in cap space to get AK one year earlier.

I'd do that trade. Lopez is going to be one of the best players in the NBA in one or two years.
