The more Maynor highlights I am seeing the happier I am with the pick. I can't wait to see him in game action with my own eyes.

Boozer was actually trying to play defense. It was nice to see. But he's still clueless when he has to guard players on the perimeter. He gets way too close to whoever he's guarding and they just drive right by him. He either commits a foul or the defense has to collapse and we end up giving up a wide open 3 or an easy layup. He seems to be improving overall on defense though.
Maynor was a pleasant surprise. Deron is still making careless turnovers. Memo is in midseason form. Sap is a beast. The rest of the team seems about the same as last year. I'm really disappointed in Kosta though. He hasn't been bad, but I expected a lot more from him offensively. The guy is a 7 footer. He seems strong and yet it looks like he gets blocked every time he tries to dunk the ball.

That's because you've been listening to all the hype on this board re: Kosta.

Give Kosta some breathing room, how old is the kid? 19? 20? 21? He is our new young CJ Miles with a work ethic. Give the kid some time to develop and he could end up being a very good player. He has shown plenty of promise and up-side for his age just be patient.

Utah Jazz: 41 rebounds
Real Madrid: 23 rebounds
Real Madrid played without bigs?: Where were Van den Spiegel and Felipe Reyes?
And Prigioni played less than 5 minutes?

They were injuried... a pity but... still Jazz would have dominated them.

The game was against en Euro team , and it was played with many FIBA rules (i.e. not defensive 3 seconds rule...). I don't think a lot of conclusions can be drawed from there.
Let's see what happen thurday back in NBA world.

Right now the most positive note in my eyes is Maynor's confidence level, poise and ability to pass the basketball. It will be huge for the Jazz if they finally got a real backup for Williams. The rookie has showed stints of very good playmaking craft.
