From an optimistic point of view, this loss is good news for the jazz. Losing a game from a buzzer-beater in the off-season makes a buzzer-beater loss in the regular season statistically less probable. Maybe this means Dwayne Wade will miss a shot in the final seconds against us Go Jazz, from a Jazz fan in Texas!

The Jazz actually lost on a buzzer-beater against the Bulls in a regualar season game last year, on a similar play where the Jazz were unable to secure the defensive rebound leading to a Larry Hughes game-winning jumper. I think what this shows is that the Jazz are a soft team when it counts.

If I remember correctly, CJ Miles was just out of position or else he would have gotten the rebound. The Jazz need to toughen up mentally to avoid those kind of mistakes.
