Jazz beat bobcat!!

Post#1 » by HolyToledo » Mon Oct 19, 2009 3:19 am

Jazz beat bobcats. I didnt see a game thread. From the review of the game and box score, AK-47 and Boozer had big games. I was shocked to see Brewer play 40 min in a pre-season game.

Watching the video highlights it seems that AK had a great game despite his 5 to's. Sounded like D-Will was struggling but managed to turn things around. Boozer seemed to have some more energy, good to see Brewer getting his game legs before the season starts.

It's nice indeed to see AK with a great game but I'm worried not to see Okur on the boxscore. Does anyone know what happened to him?

Sore back from playing last night, but he'll play next game. Just a precautionary thing. No reason to risk any sort of lasting injury.

I don't lie to Volguen, or should I call him Dr. Volguen. I consider him a powerful ally in the battle against dark forces.

So do I! So do I! I'm on my way to purchase jedi saber from eBay! You just need to give me a couple of weeks for saber to arrive and I'm going to be as powerful as Volguen! We're gonna be a force! Standing shoulder to shoulder!

Volguen is more of a medievil bash your face in with an axe type of fighter.

I think that lightsaber stuff is a little clean for him.

OK, I got it. I'm dismissed.

BTW, have you watched Family Guy episode about coming to Russia? That's exactly how we use to live here.

I liked the DWill, Brewer, Millsap, Kirilenko, and Boozer starting lineup. Those guys moved the ball like crazy and assists were coming from everywhere, esp. in the first quarter when the Jazz jumped to a big early lead. Okur, Miles, Korver, Price off the bench would provide a different look. Maynor sure shoots a lot for a rookie ...

Did anyone else notice Fes went 5-7 with 11 points?

Booz with 22 pts in 21 minutes. Trade what?

He also had a block, a steal, and four rebounds. Not too bad, I just hope he'll start being consistent.

Why are all these PG's lighting us up? Augustin with 29, Blake had 19, I think Miller had a good game against us as well.

Yeah, weird out of the blue game from Fess. Hard to see him making it in the league. Just doesn't focus enough.

Also, that is a crazy SL. So little shooting there it blows my mind that Sloan even tried it. We need Miles to get back asap and Korver to get all the way healthy soon...even with everyone our outside shooting is a concern. With those two guys out it becomes a real problem.

Augustin is a top 10 point guard, he is quick, and he can shoot - he is the type of player Deron has trouble with. As for Blake, maybe just a bad defensive night.

Both of them got hot from 3 point range. It's going to happen. This is the NBA.
