Hey there Jazz fans, I have a trade idea that I'd like some feedback on:

Probably more of a deadline deal, but I think it could have potential. Not sure is Harpring will be retiring (remember reading something about it with no confirmation), I apologize if that is the case.

Indiana trades: Jeff Foster

Utah trades: Matt Harpring + the rights to swap the NYK 1st with the IND 1st.

Why for Indy: It's quite probable that both picks are lottery material, but Indy gives up the valued service in Foster for a chance to move up in the lottery and save some future salary too.

Why for Utah: The get a very underrated role player who adds quality rebounding and man defense to the second unit. Could give the Jazz the chance at a deeper playoff run, while only giving up the possibility of a higher pick.

Depends on how NY is doing. If they're as terrible as advertised there's no way the Jazz would trade that pick for Jeff Foster.

boozer, okur, korver/harpring for redd, bogut, kurt thomas

the bucks need a power forward and the jazz get a shooter and center in return...thomas would also be a good backup for the frontcourt
