Jazz-Memnphis Trade?

Post#1 » by HolyToledo » Tue Nov 3, 2009 6:32 am

Rumor is that Rudy Gay and OJ Mayo dont get along and actually faught. Here is a trade that solves some of both teams problems. Had to include Kosta and brewer to encourage them and NOT include NYK pick.

Jazz get Gay, Steven Hunter, and Jaric
Memphis get Boozer, brewer and Kosta

Jazz future would surround Dwill, Gay, Millsap, Memo, AK-47, and Miles plus NYK pick

Jazz give alot but get lottery type talent in Rudy Gay
Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

Grizzlies don't need Boozer, and this is WAY overpaying for a guy who doesn't really fit our system and will be a free agent at year's end in any case.

Well if things continue to be this grim then yes, if the team somehow turns things around for a half decent season then no.

I don't see why not, if the team can't win then there is no point in keeping them around when you can get someone as talented as Rudy Gay.

I know some of us overvalue the talent we have here but this is a joke. Brewer, Kosta and Boozer is way too much for Gay. Also, trading Boozer now would be dumb. There's no way his value can get lower. We should at least wait until he has a good game.

I don't understand...the general feeling I get from Jazz fans is that Brewer is nothing more than a valuable trade piece and is not worth keeping on the team due to his lack of jump shot. Yet when we could potentially use him in a trade to pick up an all star caliber player and dump Boozer everyone makes him out to be some sort of super talent. Same thing goes for all the guys on the team, can we decide once and for all who is untouchable and who is expendable? lol

Wow, that is way lopsided. Maybe for Boozer straight up and even a little sweenter but Jaric is negative value and Hunter is pretty neutral.

Brewer is averaging 17.3ppg 4.7rpg 1.3apg .7spg shooting .655 .500 .765, obviously this is a small sample size, but I expect him to have 16+ppg 4+rpg 2+apg ~2spg, you can''t throw him in with Boozer for Rudy Gay and two scrubs who will be 4th string on our team. I really don't see also how Memphis needs Boozer, they got Randolph at PF, and he seems to be doing good for them, and Randolph has a huge salary, so they couldn't have two max level contracts at PF, unless they were really really stupid.

IF BREWER WAS PLAYING SMALL FORWARD AND WE SHIIPED BOOZER AND KOUFUS FOR GAY, YOU GOT SOMTHING. WILLIAMS GAY BREWER MILSAP OKUR
MAYNER PRICE MATHEWS KIRLINKO FES AND ANY BIG BODY WE CAN FIND FOR 11 PLAYERS! NO MORE BOOZER AND OKUR TOGETHER.

WE NEED A TOUGH DEFENSIVE BIG-THATS IT=CLOG THE MIDDLE. LET FES PLAY 30 MINUTES A GAME AND FOUL OUT. ITG WOULD REALLY HELP!
