Did anyone else see what Sloan said about last night? From the trib...

"Our effort was so much better than what it was last night, just trying to compete," Sloan said. "I thought we competed hard. Yeah, we made some mistakes, but if you don't compete, then you don't have much of a chance to have anything good happen for you."

We competed hard? Layind down and letting Nowitzki put a fat teabag in our mouths in the 4th was his idea of competing hard? I've always tried my hardest to stay on his side, but dude must literally be going senile!

I remember when Sloan had nothing good to say unless we won, same for Malone and the rest of the gang. What's this crap about effort when we played for some 39 minutes, then we bent over for the last 9, 27pt turnaround in 9 minutes, are you kidding me? I would of blown a fuse. It's funny that on NBATV they were talking about being a fly in the wall in a Jerry Sloan locker room after a defeat, I bet it is the players and staff eating ice cream, and bragging about being a team of underachievers while having the 2nd highest payroll. We certainly need 2 lottery picks, screw another first round exit.

This coach has always been known for two things 1. Being intense and 2. Being set in his ways. What this team needs is more of #1 and less of #2, but as he ages, Sloan is losing his fire and keeping all the other BS.
