But ehh..not to be mr. grinch but man brewer is doing well on the defensive side...but *sigh* another 1-9 shooting night for I believe 2 whole points. He's a drag on the offensive side..I'm so glad we did not sign him an extension, his shots were total bricks (at home!)
*his 2 points was a slam dunk, least he didn't miss that.
Yep. He gets most of his points on baseline drives. He's just not an NBA-quality shooter from 15-ft out. It's frustrating to watch him miss wide-open jumpers all night.
Have you looked at his Hot Spots chart? It's depressing.
I did see that, wow that is depressing.. I hope this is a bad shooting spell but I'm starting to think this is going to be a long term thing with him.
I understand why Brewer late in that spurs game passed up for that late jumper to Boozer to distance themselves for the win, it was like watching a hot potato as rone boone said last night lol...didn't want the loss to fall on his shoulders. Brewer is dang lucky he's doing well on the other end of the court because he cannot hit a shot right now , sloan would have benched him long ago. I have feeling Brewer will not be worth much on the court on road games when the whistle doesn't favor him swiping at the ball. I think Matthew's is very safe...he needs to work on that open 3 shot but then again he's a rookie who is outplaying everyone in his position...Brewer should be better shooting the ball. I hope he's working on this.
