Fes was out with the flu or something like that so he couldn't use him last night.

I was at the game last night and I have to say the Magic are probably the most entertaining team to watch warm up. There was a time during lay-ups where everyone was showing off some dunks and than Jason Williams came running in and I think it was Lewis who picked him as he jumped; Williams threw down a double windmill with his head almost at the top of the backboard and the entire Magic team went crazy...I just about fell out of my seat laughing.

First time seeing Dwight Howard in person and I must say...he is just a freak of nature. He is pure muscle and freakishly athletic for his size. It's almost unbelievable that he only averages about 18 and 10 with the physical skills he posses. Basketball wise he has a looong way to go before he will be able to dominate like he should. He has almost no low post moves, keeps the ball too low while in the post, doesnt attack the rim like he should/is capable of and if he really wanted to he probably could develop a solid mid range bank shot but he just doesn't seem interested enough to do so. He could be a better version of Hakeem if he got down and serious about things but that just isn't his personality. He shot more threes and half court shots than any other shot during warm-ups. He is just amazingly strong, memo would run into him with his whole body weight and he just wouldn't move. He set some nasty screens on Matthews and CJ...I can only imagine what it feels like to play against him.

D-Will was a monster and probably could have gone for 40 if he wanted to with J-Williams and A-Johnson guarding him for most of the game. He put the team on his back and carried us all the way. CJ Miles looked great, he is going to help this team more than anyone else this year and it is clear that the sky is the limit with him. Boozer had a solid game but had some terrible problems giving people help D when they needed it. Memo did what he could and Millsap had one of his better games in awhile. Matthews did his best against VC but you can only do so much against someone as talented as VC after guarding Kobe the night before. Brewer was nearly a non-factor but had some nice plays. Maynor didn't do much other than take a bad three, miss a fast break lay-up and get on Boozer for not helping on defense. D-Will, Miles and Boozer clearly won the game for us but our improved defense in the second half sure made a big difference.

How terrible was our FT shooting in the first half? The crowd was about ready to explode by halftime; no one could hit anything from the FT line and we could have really blown them out if we had.

Great game, great win.

I scored 14th row tickets for this game. Jazz looked horrible in the first 16 minutes of the game but dominated from there on out. Fun game.
