This is so true and it's exactly where I'm at. What the f_ck is the plan? Is there a plan? Please someone tell me there's a plan.

If they're going to act (and they should) the next 45 days is the time to do it. There will be a lot of teams willing to deal and the Jazz have assets.

I would be willing to trade Boozer, Brewer, or Miles pretty easily (if you consider them the "core"). Memo and AK would be less available (mostly becuase I think that we will get small returns).

Absolutely. Get that BUM D-Will outta here while he still has some decent trading value.

Milwaukee fan here....

Would you guys consider Andrew Bogut/Michael Redd for Miles/AK47/Milsap/Knicks pick top three protected?

Intriguing. The top 3 protection makes me want to say yes, but then for Milwaukee they gamble on the pick ending up being a Utah first rounder in the future. It would have to be creative though, since Utah could convey the Knicks pick to Minnesota if it's out of the lottery and lower than the Jazz pick. It basically becomes Miles, Sap and the pick for Bogut since AK and Redd are a bad contract wash. AK however will become a valuable expiring at the end of the year.

I realize the Knicks pick would have to come with top three protection, but I'm ok with that. The way the Knicks are playing, it is plausible that pick resides somewhere in the 9-15 range rather than the top three you guys probably hoped it would be. So the unless the Knicks overcome low lotto odds, I think that pick won't be worth quite as much as thought.

From my standpoint, Bogut needs a change of scenery. He's fighting now with Scott Skiles and I don't know if the situation improves. We really need to start a rebuild in Milwaukee around Brandon Jennings and also get Redd a change of scenery. Utah seems like a team that could use Bogut and has the assets to make a fair deal. And AK's contract is almost identical to Redd's, so if Redd doesn't work out, it isn't going to last more than another 18-months.

PP I dont think Bogut is being moved. If anything.. a AK for Redd Swap makes the most sense for Utah. But I think Milw. will be able to move Redd for expirings to a team that wants to win this year. Redd looked very good tonight.
Khris Middleton - Beating up on Trash Can Teams since 1943. Invisible Man status otherwise.
