Ive been saying we need to blow this team up for 2 years now. You see the progress that teams like Portland and OKC have made and that is two years of rebuilding the Jazz have missed out on by keeping this crap roster together.

As much as I have been a fan of KOC over the years he has really effed this roster up in the last couple of years. For Example:

- Gave away cap space that would have us out of the lux tax now and a 1st round pick for Kyle Korver.
- Signed AK to a max contract extension
- Matched CJ Miles and Paul Millsap's offer sheets (jury is still out)
- Signed Mehmet Okur to a 2 yr 21 million contract extension (the dumbest move)
- Drafted awful players before Deron and dont forgot that 2 of the last 3 draft picks arent with the team and one of them is not in the league, not to mention the one with the team doesnt even look like he belongs.
- This might be premature, but I could probably add keeping Boozer to raise his value.

The Jazz as a franchise mirror what their coach is...stubborn and fear change. Ive said this once and Ill say it again the Jazz will never win a championship with the Millers as owners and Sloan as coach.

We cant win on the road, we cant beat short-handed (last night wasnt the first or fifth time even)...simply put we suck, this season sucks and I hope we dont make the playoffs and this season blows up in managements face and Sloan decides to hang it up...of course none of that will happen.

Really think it's not fair to compare OCK or POR developement with the Jazz; those teams have been stockpiling highr draft picks for years. In fact neither of them will be able to mantain their core when rookie contracts expire... that will be the time to judge how smart they are because it will be the time they should choose between very good young players.... it will be impossible to keep them all.

If you ask me, Sloan/Jazz only fault was to try to compete when post Stockton/Malone era begun. They should have tanked it and get high profile draftees. Jazz had a team set to mark the worst NBA record ever according to sports media experts, but they went 2 games out of playoffs or something like that IIRIC. IMHO that "ethic" ruined the Jazz rebuilding proccess... obviously it would have been different with a Howard or a Wade on board....

The problem with this team is the coach. The more i watch the more i see teams on top of what we are doing offensively and then i watch a little more and i see a defense that isnt built to stop an offense in todays nba. Now if sloan and his stooges can learn to cope with the way that EVERY other team is playing now i can handle that but i cant keep watching us plug the middle on teams who are throwing up 25+% of there shots up in the form of 3's and then not defending the rim period.

Deron williams said today that the jazz were in their best streak of the year with Mathews starting and maynor the back up point guard. Then miles and Price came back and the chemistry got mixed up.
Seems like the coach screwed up the chemistry and the GM traded away a great point guard for money. do either the coach or the GM know what their doing? Is it for money saving? Why is it so many of us agree with what has f'd the jaazz up and the coach and GM don't? Please trade Miles and Okur for anything of qualty and play Fasenko and koufus!!

Is it bad when you're hoping you're hoping for some injuries, mainly to your starting C? This team is pathetic and it would be nice to see Utah actually try to make a move to make this team competitive.

I was thinking the same thing. Hope Memo gets hurt for the year and Fes breaks out. Of course I want Memo to recover and have a great career. Nothing against him personally, he just doesn't help the team.

We cant trade AK. Nobody gonna take his huge contract. So we need just to sit and wait until it will expire. And then resing Andrei for much less money.
I am really tired of Okur. The only thing he had in his entire career is ability to shoot the 3s. But where is his shoots? He cant defend,he cant rebound, he cant jump and finally he cant shoot = he cant do anything...Okur have to be traded for expiring contract. The ideal thing is to trade him along with Boozer for T-Mac. At the summer we will have a tonn of free money...
Brewer wants a big amount of money for his next contract. I dont know. Yes he is a good guy. Yes he is a role player who can play without the ball all game long...His bread and butter is to steal and dunk the ball or stay under the basket waiting for the ball inside again to dunk it.
The Utah Jazz this season is like machine without oil ( or with bad cheep oil:) )
SO GM has to do something to refresh our team.
Trades, cuts. Whatever.

I have to agree in that I don't even enjoy watching this team play. They are completely inconsistent, they show no heart, and never seem to learn from their mistakes. It's pretty unbearable.

Not to mention I've watched this same team get worse for three consecutive years.

I'm ready for a new approach on almost all levels with the exception of Deron.

Deron also not showing his skills as the leader of this team. It's too bad to watch((

I'm going to agree with this, but not just on the court, off the court he needs to be vocal on what changes need to happen. It doesn't matter if it's a huge change or a small change, but something needs to happen to this team to give it new life.

Exactly. Deron has to be the leader at both ends of the floor on and off it. He has to be as Jason Kidd was for the Nets.
Deron talking only about the allstar game how it would be great to be there...
Seems to me he doesnt care what is happening to this team.

I'm very hesitant to blame players for lack of leadership. It is very important, and it wins games, but if you look at a guy like Kobe, easily regarded as the best and at worst top 2 player in the league. He wasn't thought of as a good leader even when he had a good load of talent around him after Shaq left. Then they make a trade for another star and get PJ back and he looks like the best on floor leader in the game today.

Thats a hard measurement in my book.

you know if we talk about Kobe . We all remember when Kobe asked for his trade and told may times or teach his teammets how to play the basketball or he will leave the team.
I mean Deron doing nothing. Just keep playing. Maybe that's good. I dont know.
