I haven't heard anything about that...buuuut... I would be for it. Contract wise Gortat is long term but not excessive..the center we want, and also he blocks (something we need). AJ sounds like a ...reliable vetran so that works on the backup situation. 3 centers..Okur/Fesenko/Gortat.. I like it. Paul milsap would be our power foward with Bass backing him up..Pietrus...is a lot like Brewer (which means he can't shoot) but if we want brewer to walk..well there you go..

That would be a killer lineup and Boozer's dream which I hate to give him since he was talking about this dream weeks ago, and probably could be title runner for sure for Orlando... but at the same time he's a free agent so in ways I don't see Orlando doing this if he walks for nothing..saves money for Orlando long term that's for sure.

Pietrus is a good 3pt shooter. his problem is that he takes bad shots at time, but when he gets it going,(which is often) he can alot of thiings for the team. I would rather not lose him, but Jj is playing well as is Barnes. Gortat is a beast under the basket when given the minutes. I would rather them keep bass but I dont see a spot for him. AJ has carried the pg duties for us he's a very capable pg.

Well, if news is forthcoming on Tuesday, the cat will get partially out of the bag when we see who doesn't play tonight for the Jazz ... PS I thought the Orlando trade idea was interesting ... a bit more expansive than the Gortat/Bass for Boozer deal that has been widely speculated about for the last month.

So there was something similar beibg discussed. sweet.

yeah it said as early as tuesday...

maybe we're still signing a 10 day d-league wonder or some out of work veteran, but the earliest any trade in the future would be Tuesday all the way to the deadline. Maybe the Jazz are holding all offers until today when they HAVE to sign someone for a trade..

I dunno WHO KNOWS...hopefully they do something because a 10 day contract doesn't change anything.

Using ten-day contracts the Jazz can buy 20 extra days to work some trades. Given we are mid tuesday tht's the most probable thing to happen. I'm ok with it if it's in order to gain time to blow up this roster.
