It looks like when Deron is controlling the game, AK can't explode with that kind of production and becomes just a role player.
AK needs the ball on offense more and when Deron is playing he doesn't see it as often, he's just not as good of a ball handler and creator as Deron is and he lets it affect his game everywhere.
When Williams is on court nobody really sees the ball. Deron has grown sort of in love with yoyoing in slow motion while slowly walking the court. I don't know why, it's almost funny the amount of time he has the ball in his hands before he actually does anything with it.
In fact the ball movement is much better when he quickly pass the ball to his wings and go for the curl faking a SG....
Just a little confidence problem methinks... be it about himself or about his teammates abilities.... It will go away in due time.
