Pistons-Jazz trade

Post#1 » by ocellatus921 » Sat Jan 9, 2010 7:17 pm

What about Rip, Prince for AK-47, Korver & Koufos?

Jazz would become

Willams/Price
Rip/Brewer
Prince/Miles
Boozer/Millsap
Okur/Fesenko

Pistons would become

Atkins/Bynum
Stuckey/Gordon/Korver
AK-47/Daye/Summers
Jerebko/Villanueva
Wallace/Koufos

I don't think Detroit would be willing to move Prince. They probably are willing to do AK for Rip now, as AK is close to being an expiring contract.

Why would Detroit give up both those guys for essentially AK?

It would be a cap dump (get rid of 2 years of Rips contract, at the price of Prince) That's too high of a price for Detroit and even the Jazz may have trepidations about having Rip for 3 whole years.
