From ESPN.com by way of the SL Trib:

An ESPN.com report Tuesday said Detroit would like to acquire Boozer in a trade but the Jazz are unwilling to take back Richard Hamilton or Tayshaun Prince , both of whom have years remaining on their contracts. The report also said the Jazz were exploring trades involving Kirilenko "with all their might."

Hmm. I would do Boozer and Prince. Boozer and Kirilenko for Prince and Jerbenko and stuff would interest me.

The funniest part of that trade is the Jazz are giving up the 2 highest PER ratings in the trade.

About Rip. He has been injured this year, but as far as I know, it wasn't anything serious, his ankle was strained, took him some time to come back, but I don't think it's the kind of injury that stays with you.

Since he came back, he naturally had trouble finding proper rythm back, and the way the team was playing didn't exactly help him, but he really looks fine physically, he had a couple of nice games already, and he's been playing big minutes repeatedly in the last games.

Rip has always been reputed for constantly being in great shape, showing up for each new season in excellent condition, and missing very few games. Pistons fans unanimously believe he will age gracefully, he has often been compared to Reggie Miller, and Reggie played almost until 40.

Honestly, if we had not signed Gordon, I would be fine keeping Rip, I would even be ok with his extension, coz i think he'll still be playing good by the end of his contract.

(I feel like I'm trying to sell a used car : 'what can I do to make you be behind the wheel of this Ripmobile TODAY ?' )

Thanks for the assessment. I do think he'd be a great fit on this team, I just wish he were a little cheaper.
