Post#1 » by MeestR » Wed Jan 20, 2010 5:01 am

when i was a kid, i used to watch the jazz on national tv and listen to hot rod on the radio. now we have tnt, espn, and boler to listen to on tv with locke on the radio. i don't really have a problem with the tv guys, although sometimes im tempted with the espn guys. i haven't done that in quite some time though.

i was curious what you guys think. do you ever mute the game and listen to the radio?

I think these days with satellite/cable delays you'd have a hard time getting them to sync up. I guess you could DVR it and adjust slightly... but that's a lot of effort to go to just to hear David Locke.

But then, I think I can count on one hand the number of times I've listened to AM in my home in the last five years.

I've only ever listened to the radio a few years back when some of the games didn't get televised, other than that, never.
