Here's something to think about.

Do you guys realize that if the Jazz would have beat Minnesota each of the two times they lost to them this season, Utah would have the third best record in the NBA right now?

33-16... not sure if it would be the third or second best at 0.673... Sloan sucks.

What ifs. At least they are playing well right now. The real test is coming on this road trip. If we play well there, then I will be a true believer that we are a contender.

I rather loose to the Wolves which I know we're not going to meet in the playoffs than a contender like Cleveland or LA. It still sucks though that at the end of the season these two losses are basically what could separate us from being a position ahead.

Coulda Woulda Shoulda.............

We also lost to the Kings at home, Houston at home, Dallas when we were tearing it up for the first three quarters, Denver without Billups and Melo, and New Orleans at home on top of the two Minnesota losses. All games we shoulda coulda woulda won that shoulda coulda woulda put us at a record of 38-11, 1 1/2 games behind Cleveland for the best record in the league.

Fact is we didnt win those games. Every team has bad losses each year. Its how you come back from those losses that defines who you are. and at 31-18 with the 3rd best record in the deep Western Conference, I think we are pretty well defined.

Besides, shoulda coulda woulda just sounds like a whiny BYU fan that every year thinks they will make it to a BCS game and at the end of every year, the conversation is the same: "We coulda made it to the BCS game if we woulda beat the teams we shoulda beat".... :D :D :D

+1

Minnesota is well behind us now, we got our revenge on them at their building and we have a home game coming up against them to even the season series. Don't live in the past, live in the future

That sounds astonishingly similar to what EVERY team says at the end of the year that didn't make it to a BCS game...

It is, but BYU makes it a regular occurrence

Coulda, woulda, shoulda.... teap... it might be... yet it's a valid point in that it shows how close to the top tier the Jazz are.

No, some teams say "hey, we weren't good enough this year." BYU fans never accept that they're simply not good enough. There is always some external force that held them back, not their own lack of ability.

OK, we're off topic and I don't think much more needs to be said.
