As long as CJ stays consistent, we don't miss him at all. Wes gives you pretty much the same thing every night, and Korver is unconscious from 3, but CJ is the wild card for us. If he plays well, good luck beating us.

As of right now, I don't miss Brewer much at all, though he finished much better at the rim than any of these guys.

I'd definitely have to agree with this...even if we do end up better w/out Brewer, it's not like the FO did it to get better...and it makes you wonder when they'll make a similar penny-pinching move that ends up hurting us

I'm not quite sure I agree with this thought process anymore. The FO knew they had a good thing going with Wes and saw more potential in CJ. So far, it has played out that way. Brewer was a lot of fun to watch throw down dunks, but I'm not missing much else, especially after watching him go down the way he did. I would rather have had that trade made than watching him in street clothes behind the bench, though you can't credit the FO at all for trading him before a major injury, given his health record prior to that point.

The truth is, at this point, that extra 1st round pick is looking a lot better than it did on trade day, especially if we weren't going to be able to pick him up after this season anyway.

CB, Ronnies salary is the going rate for 1st round picks, now double it, and add the chance it's in the teens.

One has to consider how much potential Brewer has... I'd say he's pretty much at his ceiling, I don't see him getting much better. Mathews though is a rookie having a very solid season, when Korver is healthy his shooting is much more valuable, especially in the clutch, and whilst I'm losing hope in Miles, maybe he needs the increases minutes to get better, he's been putting up some good numbers lately, a little inconsistent, but better than before.

Miles' last 10:

24.4mpg 10.5ppg 2.4rpg 1.5apg 1spg .1bpg while shooting 0.458 0.471 0.684.

Korver's last 10:

24.0mpg 9.9ppg 3.5rpg 2.5apg .9spg .2bpg while shooting .500 .571 .700.

Matthew's last 10:

28.0mpg 11.3ppg 2.2rpg 1.8apg 1.2spg .2bpg while shooting 0.520 0.400 0.871

Pretty good productin from all three of these, they are shooting great, and they all get about 1.5spg PER36, which is really good.

Meh we don't miss Brewer, if anything he might of been holding us back from spreading the floor and being a great shooting team.

If Korver continues to shoot 58% from 3 like he has been for the entire season then I think loosing Brewer actually helped us because we are a much more potent offensive team. However, it's hard not having that defensive stopper that can step off the bench and give you 20-30 solid minutes.

I miss the way he approached the game and wish that kind of effort could be given from CJ every game. That said, it's hard to say we miss his game. Could it be that the logjam was a real problem and that it actually made sense to trade him? I admit that when Andrei went down I was thinking, "Crap!!!" However since it hasn't been an injury which has caused him to miss significant time, it's okay. If he were out a long time, then I think it would change a lot of feeling. As it sits based on performance, I don't think the team has missed his game, just his friendship.

I like Brewer but I always felt he was overrated defensively....name one guy he stopped....I can't thing of one guy...what he did was gamble for steals that led to some pretty good dunks.....
