CJ Miles

Post#1 » by BarneyGumble » Thu Apr 8, 2010 3:58 am

Signing this guy to long-term deal worth $16 million was a bigger mistake by our FO than signing John Amaechi. Miles is absolutely the biggest joke I've ever seen. How does he get minutes on this team? I cannot figure it out....Sloan is known to demand discipline from his players. Miles is less disciplined than a baby in diapers. The guy makes tons of mistakes, shows horrible judgment, and basically just sucks. He has about 1 good game in 10, and even then....his good games are nothing to write home about. He is the biggest waste of 6 feet 7 inches I have ever seen.

CJ MILES SUCKS!

I didn't think he was that bad tonight. Deron was much worse than he was and Wesley had about the worst game I have seen this year from him. Had those two even had an average game, this would have gone much differently.

I only watched for a while, but, I thought Boozer was the terrible one tonight.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Boozer didn't seem bad, neither did Miles. Okur was **** useless, Matthews and Williams threw a lot of lazy passes that resulted in turnovers and fast break layups.

Can we please get over this whole C.J. Miles thing? Seriously. I could complain about a different member on this team every night, it just always happens to be Miles and it's not right.

I've always considered myself one of CJ's toughest critics, but I don't really think he played bad enough to warrant his own thread. It was a bad loss, but CJ has been playing pretty good as of late.

You guys are thinking I made this thread because of one game? Pffffft, the dude is terrible night in and night out. Im not writing a reactionary thread here. He is our weak link, and we will sink in the playoffs if AK doesn't get healthy or Sloan doesn't give more of Miles' minutes to Korver....

Miles is one of the most talented players on the Jazz as well as one of the dumbest. He was a good signing because he is still very young and improving every year. If he continues to improve and learn the game he could actually be an allstar in 2-3 years.
Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

Are you kidding me? Get Okur the hell out of here. He's the weak link.

Okur, Miles, and kirlinko all need to be traded before next season starts for draft picks or better physical & athletic players. Lets move on with different players!

Miles has been in the league for 4+ years! How many more years do we need to wait for him to "get it"? I dont buy this argument. If he's dumb he will always be dumb and wont ever learn things like not fouling a 90% FT shooter on a desparation 3 with 1 second left in the game......

Cj played the same defense against Ok that he played against Indiana and many other teams this year. He may never get it.

CJ is talented. Maybe one day he'll actually come around. But the Jazz can't afford to wait anymore. We have too many inconsistent, fickle players on this teams and it's killing us. Just imagine if CJ had Wes Mathews' drive and work ethic...he would be incredible. But he doesn't, and there's nothing anyone can do about it but CJ.

And it sucks to admit it, but people rarely change when it comes to personality traits such as complacency. Making millions of dollars probably just makes him feel more comfortable.

If CJ had Wesley's tenacity (we really need to come up with a nickname for Wes) he would be a really good player. CJ needs to hit the weights like Brew did last off season.
