The curious thing is what I though I was on drugs saying we would finish 30-11 in the second half... and we finished 30-11 still a bad taste in the mouth for that phoenix lose.

Yeah, it kind of makes me think we should be happy with a 30-11 second half and 53 total wins. I thought the best possible was 52 wins. At one point we were 13-1, so we only went 17-10 down the stretch. Damn that AK injury really killed us.

The Jazz played very well during the final 41 games, with a few lapses, It is the start of the season that made the second half run not good enough. The mental lapses that this team shows at time are the most frustrating part for me. Every time it seemed like we turned the corner we had another lapse that led to inexplicable losses. At season' end we were 3-3 in the last six including two blowout losses. We can make all the excuses we want to justify whatever happened, but at times this team just doesn't show-up to play with any intensity. It seems that there is missing leadership to rally the team when it is missing from others.
