OT: RealGM's best food of SLC - Dessert

Post#1 » by jazzfan1971 » Mon May 3, 2010 8:29 pm

My favorite desert is outside the valley, I like the Ciserokie. (sp?) It's a giant cookie fresh baked in a pie tin with ice cream scoops, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce. It's up in Park City at a place called Ciscero's. Been a while since I've been there, so no idea if they are still in business. Serves about 4.

I also like the Kahlua Cheesecake at the Cheesecake factory.

Not a restaurant, but, I also enjoy the apple pie from Sam's Club. Get a whole apple pie for less than 6.00 and I think it's a great tasting pie.

Who you got?
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Huge fan of anything with the caramel sauce @ Leatherby's. Pretty sure it has some sort of narcotic in it. The Golden Nugget or Black & Tan ( I ask for no chocolate sauce but all caramel) are favorites.

My favorite dessert:

The White Russian.

I also invented a great dessert cocktail called the Raspberry Beret, it's Vodka, Chambord and half and half. Just like a White Russian but with the Chambord instead of Kaluah.

OOH! Just thought of my favorite local dessert food!

The Creme Brulee at Porcupine Grille. Delish, especially during berry season.

I used to work at Leatherby's and The Golden Nugget was hell on earth to clean. It was tasty as hell though, I wish the Provo location didn't close down.

I am in the mood now to find a good warm custard. With blueberries.

As a man of simple pleasures, I quite like a maceys or arctic circle soft serve cone, twist style, or the 1$ mcdonalds sundae.

For a more elaborate treat, plain cheesecake with blueberry topping is a fave of mine particularly from cheesecake factory.

Word is, South Beach is ecstatic that they
won't be seeing Millsaps talents again this season...

My friend just became the Sous Chef at Market Street South Jordan.

Free food all the time. So amazing.
