I don't think it will take long for NY with LeBron to be a serious contender. They'll always be able to attract talent, and they won't bat an eyelash about spending tons of $$$.

What bothers me more about Lebron's summer is not what he could or could not do next season. It's comments like Kevin Garnett's that kind of disturb me a little bit... "loyalty hurts"...
I certainly don't expect that sort of "intellectual subversion" coming out off the mouth of a referent of the modern roman circus... I really can't respect such stupidity and mediocracy... if that's what you have to say just STFU... It angers me a little bit that this dudes receive levels of privilege out of this world and just lack the antics to graciously and righfully bear them...

Lebron is going to be compared to Jordan and in Jordan's shadow no matter where he goes.

If he goes to The Bulls, he will have to win 6 titles at least, which I doubt it. Otherwise not a chance to be a real "king".

Winning a title in New York wont be any easier than winning it at Cleveland.

I think he's going to stay in Cleveland.

Regards.

They purposely traded away their quality players in the previous offseason so that they could suck. They didn't tank as hard as the Nuggets did though. Trading away all of their best players and then taking players who currently sucked with the 5th and 7th picks so that they could get LeBron.

I have to say that watching him against the Celtics was just....odd.

It was like a funky dream or different reality, didn't look anything like LeBron.

My guess is he will end up in either NY or Chicago.

I could totally see him landing in Chicago and blocking the Jazz from winning our first title. Would be just our luck wouldn't it?

Chicago is spoiled, hope he doesn't go there. Would prefer to see him stay in Cleveland. If he goes to NY those cheap tickets that I get every season are going to skyrocket. I personally feel that he will go to NY because I believe he is an egomaniac and wants to be the global icon/billionaire. Kind of funny how he was all for Obama yet Obama just said a few weeks ago that he thinks at some point you've made enough money. Sorry, just had to mention that. If not NY then I think he stays in Cleveland.

You guys think what Lebron does will have some effect on what DW might do when he becomes a free agent?

Of course it will. Deron is completely caught up in the popularity contest going on in the league, including pandering for All-Star recognition. The person at the top of that food chain is Lebron. It will have a huge effect on an entire generation of sycophantic players.
