-Utah moves up to grab Cousins & saves a boatlaod of $
-NJ moves down but gets there PF of the future while still retaining a top 10 pick.

I would love to see Cousins play for the Jazz, though it seems that view is in the minority on this board due to his attitude issues. He is the one center in the draft who could play with Boozer or would allow Millsap to start effectively at PF, should Boozer walk. I don't see a trade with NJ materializing, though; after their disappointment in the lottery it seems especially unlikely they would be willing to move down. They would be better served to simply take Favors at 3.
Minnesota has 3 picks in the first round, and a stacked a front-court. A deal to get their #4 pick would be much more likely. Word is they like W. Johnson- If we could swing something wherein they move down a pick or two, we get the #4, and the Warriors or Kings get the #9, I'd be all in favor.
Problem- we don't want to move Millsap unless Boozer is under contract, and we can't move Boozer until he signs. I doubt future considerations, the 9th pick, and players we are willing to move will be enough to get this deal done. Besides, management is way too conservative to pull the trigger.

I love it. I can see the Nets doing it, too. This trade seems very plausible.
However, it's a risky move because Jazz won't know until after the draft if they will be able to keep Boozer.

New Jersey just announced that they will be bringing on Andrea Vatunin to be a high level basketball executive, and likely groom to be next GM. http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/ ... nt_office/
Vatunin was the President of CSKA Moscow (where Andrei came from), and I believe Vatunin has major influence in the Russian National team. Andrei's success on the national team (and at one point his desire to return to CSKA Moscow) might have some growing connections in NJ.
I'm not saying that New Jersey is now automatically willing to trade their #3 pick for AK & our #9 (there's no way they get out of the LeBron sweepstakes before they even begin), but I am saying that there may be some future interest to acquire AK. Whether it is after the Nets strike out on high level free agents, or next year when AK is a free agent again.
