This year's 21st, 26th, and 32nd (2nd pick of rd 2).
9th pick we select Hassan Whiteside 7'0"/240 lbs/7'7" wingspan
21st pick we select Solomon Alabi 7'1"/255 lbs/7'5" wingspan
26th pick we select Artsiom Parahouski 6'11"/270 lbs/7'1" wingspan
32nd pick we select Jerome Jordan 7'0"/240 lbs/7'6" wingspan
That way we are way, way, way longer!
Williams/Price/Gaines
Miles/Matthews
Kirilenko/Jeffers
Millsap/Parahouski/Jordan
Whiteside/Alabi/Okur/Koufos

this way we could always if we wanted to, have two 7 footers on the court at the same time the whole game.

Except for whiteside, all those guys suck. And chances are whiteside sucks too. I like the trade, don't like the picks.

I'm assuming this is a joke thread, but we don't have the roster space, and even if we did the value doesn't add up for the Thunder. They would likely rather move up in this draft, but will end up drafting their own 21st and 32nd and trading the 26th for a future pick.

I would love the Jazz to get more 1st round picks so if something like this could be worked out I would do it. I'm a big believer in the depth in this draft and the Jazz are in a good posistion to make some major improvements with this group of guys.
Not saying this is the deal to do since it sounds a bit crazy but something similiar would be great.
Alabi would be a great player to take and develop and if we had multiple 1st round picks I would even consider taking Whiteside with one of them (not the 9th).

I would rather trade down with Memphis this year and pick up their #12, #25, and #28 if their is a player they really want to move up for. But only if the players we are really targeting are off the board, or enough of the players we like will be left 3 spaces later.
We may not get the #28 pick, but perhaps we could change the year and range that we can take their future pick from them. You know make the restriction go down below #10 to say #5 or #6 restriction, and have it start this year.
I like that better.
The more I look at this draft the more I feel it is max....9 deep. We will get a good player. I am hoping for Monroe. He looks like a Zach Randolph in the make to me with more length, and polish.
