How bad does a player have for him to be considered awful value at #55?

even though its just a late 2nd rounder....there was MUCH better value with the likes of Stanley Robinson still on board

I was hoping for Manny Harris of Michigan. Maybe the Jazz will invite him to the summer league.

Jeremy Evans is a super interesting prospect. He has the physical tools, and was shooting the ball really well when I saw him workout at Tim Grover's facility last month. He's not an NBA ready player, but a guy you take late and someday he maybe puts it all together.

This kid does some freakish things on the floor, it's too bad he's a stick figure with little offensive ability...jazz please invite Jerome Randle to camp, we need a backup point that can shoot!!!

He sounds like Kirilenko to me. In two year's we're going to have a hell of a team I guess.

A big gamble, but with the 55 pick you can afford it...

The guy is extremely athletic and coachable, we'll have a closer look at the summer league.

at 55 it doesn't really matter. They can stash him in the D-League for a couple of years and see if he fills out and develops. If he doesn't, no one will remember anyway. If he does, the team looks like a genius.

Jerome Randle, Stanley Robinson, and Brian Zoubek were still on the board though :(

Most disappointed in that he's a senior, yet still a project.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

I really wanted English big man Ryan Richards, but he was taken just before...
