3 low cost free agents if Boozer leaves
Ike Diogu, a good offence player and rebounder to replace Boozer but no defence.
Amir Johnson, shots a very high percanage and decent rebounder.
Richard Hendrix, played great in Euro League and a MIlsap type player.
The Jazz play Milsap , Kirilenko and one of these guys could replace Boozer .
The jazz then might go for a center like Jemaine O'neil or Brandon Haywood in free agency

Not a fan of any of those guys. Don't see how any of them would improve the team.
I wouldn't mind seeing Craig Smith here in Utah to backup Millsap.

I would prefer a taller PF rather the the shorter ones mentioned.

I agree. And no thanks to Gooden, too. The guy is productive and deserves credit for that, but he has terrible "basketball IQ" and Sloan would annihilate him.

Amir is a decent shot blocker though. I think he'd be a very nice backup to Milsap.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

The Jazz may be able to get a guy like Chris Wilcox with some of the TPE from the Harpring trade. I would definitely be interested in him as a back up PF capable of playing 20 minutes a night. He could also start at C if needed.

He's going to be expensive imo.

Not sure this is the place to post this, but I rather not start a new thread. I read that the Bulls are trying to dump James Johnson to be able to offer two max contracts. I know the Jazz were interested in him in last year's draft. As a 4/3 he really would create a log jam, but if we plan on moving AK he would be a nice prospect to give a shot to.

I'll take my chances on Earl Barron, then.

Amir Johnson would be a very solid addition. Considering that Toronto's focus will be on Bosh in the first days of free agency and that they have drafted Ed Davis, I think Amir is a viable free agent target for Utah.

Re: 3 low cost free agents if Boozer leaves
Amir Johsnon is a interesting player, he's been in the league a while but he's still young, i could see him having a breakthrough season in the next year or two.
I wanted the jazz to draft Richard Hendrix back in the 08 draft(he was taken a couple picks ahead of us). He's been often compared to Paul Millsap as being a 2nd round steal. Undersized PF but has a 7 ft 3 wingspan.

Re: 3 low cost free agents if Boozer leaves
He may not be really low cost, but I'd love to see the Jazz go after Udonis Haslem if Boozer leaves. He'd be a nice backup for Millsap and could probably get 30 mpg depending on the matchup.
