I think we really need to use our exiting trade execption and try to get shaq for a year. He is a huge upgrade over Kufos and Fes, and dont forget Memo wont be back till christmas at the earliest and may not be the same player.

A year deal with shaq and of course we would have to overpay him, but he can score down low and his defense is no worse than Okur and Boozer. What other choices are there.

I dont want to lock up Lee for 5 years, that would be a waste. He is definately Boozer light in every category.

I'd be suprised it doesn't happen.

We can S&T and the Bulls don't have to give up anything. Utah's not a direct competitor and the Bulls are not a championship team yet. The exception will only help us for 1 year.

It just takes one phone call from Boozer's agent to get the deal done, and Boozer's agent won't want a bad reputation with the Jazz (or any other team for that matter).

Boozer doesn't have to want it, Chicago won't give a damn, it'll just be Boozer's agent making the wise career move.

Looks like KOC did it. I'm very happy to be proven wrong. :)

Now I think the best plan for the Jazz, given that this will be a pseudo-rebuilding year anyway, is to wait patiently until the trading deadline. They will have a lot of flexibility between this TPE and AK's contract.
