I'm not surprised he left. he left Cleveland when they agreed to do him a favor and pay him more money then he renegged on his word and Utah was complicit because they knew the circumstances of the Cleveland agreement but disrespected it and unethically went after him and stole him.

Now it really does seem fitting how he has left Utah b/c the jazz didn't deserve him in the first place and now he has just walked out the door. Now the jazz are crying 'please do a sign and trade Carlos' when the jazz really deserve nothing.

The wheels of justice may turn slowly but best be assured that they do move over time.

This post is garbage. Cleveland's agreement with him was illegal, and there is no way that anyone would say no to a twenty million dollar raise.

And of course the Jazz want a sign and trade - so does ever team that is about to loose a player for nothing. Get over it.

Boozer didn't get max. There isn't an issue of the Bulls being willing to pay Boozer more. The Bulls have no incentive to do a sign and trade unless Jazz makes it worth their while.

How about 2 2nd round picks and Boozer for a trade exception and the rights to Mario Austin?

You can get more with a big trade exception than you will get out of a couple 2nds. You might be able to holdup a team or 2 by using the trade exception to facilitate a trade between teams over the cap or with base year contracts.

The reality is, or at least my perception of it... Boozer leaving hurts the Jazz a little bit. Not a lot, nothing devastating, but no question they will not be improved by his absence. What they will have is a much smaller payroll for only a slightly worse team. This is great if you're Greg Miller. Maybe not so great if you're just the average Jazz fan. It doesn't bother me that much that they didn't re-sign Boozer. What bothers me is that it's been quite awhile since the FO pulled off a move that was designed to improve the team as opposed to a move that was designed to save money.

I don't see the problem with a core of Williams, Matthews, Hayward, Millsap. Get a decent five on the team and we're good to go. You **** need to calm down, it's embarrassing.

The Suns are getting a 16.5M trade exception out of Amare, so hope is not lost on the same happening for the Jazz. That would be amazing.

Jazz are getting a 13M TPE out of the trade. Well done KOC, now make good use of it!

That will be the second largest next to the Suns'. Hopefully we have a good opportunity to use them.

So are the bulls a better team that Utah was last year?
Noah vs Okur, Noah better
Boozer earning contract, vs Boozer just got a contract, Boozer earning a new contract is better
Deng vs AK, AK played really well untill he got injured, AK better
Hinrich vs Mathews, I think Hinrich is better
Rose vs Williams, Williams is better
Our bench vs thiers, Ours is better
Del Negro vs Sloan, I may be wrong on their coach, but whoever it was sloan is better.

So I dont see this making the bulls a championship team.

He is comparing our hypothetical team vs the Bulls team.

Thus Millsap would still be on the bench.
