Struck me too that that is what it came down to for LeBron. I don't see how anyone could argue that the Heat will have a stronger, more balanced roster than the Bulls would have had. Then again, there's a reason why teams have GMs and personnel matters are not handled by the players.

I guess it could have been worse. However, don't count out Pat Riley's ability to put in some role players around those 3. Pat Riley is the cheatingest GM in the league IMHO. He'll get players by hook or crook.

I think Wade is scarier by himself than Rose, Noah, Harris, and Lopez put together.

Vets taking the minimum to chase rings is great and all but vets that take the minimum usually have broken down bodies that hurt you more than help in this situation.

I always thought that people expected Jordan mentality out of LeBron while LeBron had more of a Pippen mentality. I don't think there is any doubt that Wade will emerge as the Jordan of the trio. LeBron will be the Pippen with Bosh playing the Kukoc.

As far as veterans go, many players coming off their second contracts who already got their money might want to chase a championship in the second half of their primes. I don't see Miami landing quality players on the cheap to be a problem with Wade, LeBron, and Bosh on the roster.

What? Just because Wade takes more FTs than those 4 players combined that doesn't make him scarier.

Well, there is some truth to that. If the rules allowed me to field 8-on-5, then I would take those four over Wade. Well, damn those NBA rules!

The Gasol trade changed the nba landscape for the worst. If that wasnt bad enough enough he then rubbed our faces in it by trading for Zach Randolph. Signing Rudy Gay to max contract shouldnt surprise.

Now the only way to compete for a nba title is have not one superstar but two or now even three.

Guys like LeBron and Howard are good enough to be the best player on a team to win a championship except the Lakers (Kobe & Gasol) and Celtics (Pierce, Garnett and Allen) have multiple franchise guys. All those guys were the best players on their respective teams before they were teamed together.

Now the league is just getting ridiculous. Not only the top 3 free agents from the same free agent class all going to the same team but 3 of the top 20 players overall.

Somehow I dont think it matters whether the Jazz resigned Boozer or not.

I blame kevin Garnett, Here was a small market team and the Team leader left to go win with a big market. I think this one set up Gasol to force his way out of Memphis, and Dwill just may force his way out of utah. I hope not.
