True, but because of his play they got rid of Brewer not Matthews.

I hope we don't match. I like others on here feel that Matthews has reached his potential allready.

Love the kid. Was my favorite player last year. But, let him go. We'll find someone else just as good for 1/3rd the money.

I think that his ceiling is as a 14 3 and 2 guy with good defense. That is nice and all, but not worth $9,000,000 in one year even if the contract is declining. Let Portland have their cake and eat it too.
