Those were the good ol' days, back when this thread had some real vitriol in it. It feels so tame now, arguing the relative merits of Kenny Anderson and Mehmet Okur.

There's no question Portland has done a better job signing borderline, 2nd rate first star free agents.

Lets move onto Roy vs. Williams. I'd say Williams was better in 09-10 but Roy better in 08-09. Next year will be a tossup.

I'm having a hard time deciding. Maybe you could send me an iPad loaded with all the highlights from Roy's career. I'll PM you my address.

No, I think I'll just write a book about him instead.

Just wait. When the ever omnipotent Batum becomes a free agent, the Jazz will snatch him away. The black plague inexplicably returns to the world, but somehow only resides in Portland, while miracle after miracle is performed by some benevolent 6'8 man from France in Utah. Utah will be forever known as the uber FA destination of the whole league.

Word is, South Beach is ecstatic that they
won't be seeing Millsaps talents again this season...

Don't use Batum's name in vain.
