I want you to prove that statement...I don't think you can. Where did you "hear" it?

keep in mind that some random nutjob fan does not equal "Portland"

Blazer TV analyst said it on one of our local stations the other day, also going on to say that they've been working on getting Paul for over a month. I've heard/seen it other places too.

Whether one agrees with it or not, I believe he was simply implying that Portland fans are unrealistic.

Matthews cannot be traded until December.

I did hear that Mike Rice was on Utah radio recently. Why? I have no idea. I guess it was yet another attack on Utah from the Portland organization.

And Utah fans are Mormon and have multiple spouses.

Its easy to generalize. Just unrealistic (to use your word).

Wait, that's not the same thing, even if the unrealistic label isn't apt.

that's not anything close to saying "Portland thinks they will get CP3 for Miller/Matthews."

are you blind to the difference?

I think there is an unrealistic obsession among some blazer fans for going after Paul. It ain't going to happen

But those proposed deals haven't been Miller/Mathews...they have taken the general form of Miller + Pryzbilla + Rudy + draft picks as the constant, then have usually added 2 of Aldridge, Oden, Batum, and Bayless. There have even been some with Roy included. And the deals have always brought back the albatross contract(s) of Okafor and/or Posey

That's completely different then the asinine assertion that "Portland thinks they will get CP3 for Miller/Matthews"

finally, if it was Mike Rice that was interviewed, my label of "random nutjob fan" applies
