I believe I heard somewhere that Jefferson had some of the best numbers agasint Gasol out of anyone in the league (don't have a clue if that's true, just thought I heard it somewhere).

I am a huge believer in starting Millsap and Jefferson for the entire year, I believe they will help each other a lot. As long as we have shooters around them, they could end up being one of the top front courts in the entire NBA.

Hard to say how many games we are going to win right now without knowing about the other moves but I could see us winning 50+ games if we stay healthy.

Bagley was saying he averaged 23 and 11 against the Lakers last year with a 29 point game. That is just fine with me.

I'm on the start sap and jefferson team.

But I think if you do that you need to start AK with them too. Thats 3 guys that can block at least one shot a game. Having AK able to help double the bigger 4's and 5's will help us tremendously.

With that lineup we need a shooting guard who can really shoot tho. As of right now we don't have that and dont know where we could find it....

I think starting Al and Paul at first would be the way to go. If it doesn't work the Jazz can always move Paul to the bench.

It is a little hard to decide who should get what minutes ect because the Jazz have what 8 players under contract and 3 with non garenteed deals. The off-season is still very young and I think it's obvious now that the Jazz front office is busy.

Right now I think this team is about even with last years team, maybe a little worse because there are still a few holes. Jefferson will replace Boozer so that's not a concern. Hayward will replace Korver and some. The questions are who will replace Matthews? and how good will Memo be? But I do like this team now, and I think Jefferson will florish under the Jazz system and with deron Williams. Celtic and T-wolves fans love this guy and I remember some C's fans where angry when he was traded for KG.

darthkiller wrote:people who think jefferson is a 5. just look at minnesota, they gave away jefferson for peanuts because he isnt a 5 , they wanted Darko to get minutes over him.

a jefferson milsap will be the worst defensive front court in the league and jazz wont go far in the playoffs.

Not only can he play center, he could be an all-star at center in the west.

His best move at center would be the "Bynum bitch slap". I'm all for it. :D
