It is.

We're signing him the way we signed Fisher. A glue guy with experience and leadership without any desire to take the spotlight off Deron.

Our elders last season was Okur. This year (and hopefully for the next 3 years) it'll be Raja. As much as Raja replaces Mathews on the court skill-wise, he's going to be needed to replace Harpring chemistry-wise.

We actually traded for Fisher, but you've hit everything else on the head. I think this is more of a locker room signing than anything else. Although, his D, attitude, and ability to shoot are big plusses!!!

I agree that Bell is going to have a similiar impact on this team that Fisher had a few years ago. I've always said that the presence of Fisher helped our team way more then everyone on here would like to admit. If Bell can bring the same kind of impact that Fisher brought we will be in the WCF next season; book it.
