Hey fellow Jazz fans, long time reader first time poster. I came along this comparision and thought I would share it with everyone. Boozer is almost 29 and has played almost the same amount of games as Big Al even with Big Al blowing his ACL. Boozer didnt really have as serious of a injury like Als.

Re: Interesting Comparison on Boozer vs. Big Al
For Big Al to catch up on Booze's 17.2 average, he has to score 24.5 points per in those 104 games. Tough feat, imo.
A better gauge, however, is how deep the team can go in the playoffs with him in the roster.

Al Jefferson made the jump from high school, while Boozer made the jump from college. If you compare Jefferson's numbers from his last 4 season, they are a little more in Jefferson's favor.

Big Al has more room to grow. He is finally with a great PG.Its time to fly for BIG Al...Booz will continue his #'s in Chicago. Rose is more of a scorer, but then again he had to be so Booz will do just fine for himself. Big Al might be just what the doctor ordered for us!
