Re: Patty Mills???
Here is a good article about Portland's decision on him.

I haven't seen him play as much as I would like to say yes or no, I feel he could be a great 3 PG if we got rid of Gaines, but between the two of them I think I pick Gaines. I don't know, he is a good scorer and is fast, could do well in the Jazz rotation. Did well in the summer league and is now back in the D-league but a good option.

He's definitely better than Gaines.

I think he has a non-guaranteed contract with Portland. I would rather have him than Gaines.

Patty Mills did drop 20 on USA in the Olympics few years back and Coach K raved about him after. Mills would be a nice spark off the bench and the guy can shoot.

Re: Patty Mills???
He is a very good player that I watched play in college for a couple of years. I was surprised he wasnt drafted as I thought he was Maynor type quality at PG. He is much better than shoot first Gaines. I would lke to see the Jazz sign him to compete with Gaines in pre-season but he maybe looking for a guaranteed contract because he has opportunities overseas.
Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

I think you invite him to camp and give him a chance to make the team. See who wins out between him and Gaines. Competition is never a bad thing.
