Even if Deron does leave the Jazz he will never be even half the douche that Crymelo Anthony is. That guy has been a loser and a cancer since his first day in this league....

Well, yeah, that would suck. But I don't expect Denver to be sympathetic in that eventuality, nor should they be.

Denver, Cleveland and Toronto fans would be empathetic atleast I would.

That's fair enough, and very virtuous of you. I definitely feel empathy for Cleveland's and Toronto's fan bases. I think my feeling about Denver's situation is predicated on:

* Negative encounters with some super-cocky fans over the years, on here and otherwise, and wanting to see them taken down a notch (realizing, of course, that every fanbase has those people -- including my own).
* Feeling like Denver has historically played basketball the "wrong" way.
* How deeply I loathe Carmelo Anthony.

Though, if you think about it, the third reason would actually make me more sympathetic if he left, wouldn't it?

Hmmm... so much soul-searching to do...

The Jazz and Hornets will probably go thru the same ordeal sometime between now and the summer of 2012. The 'inmates are running the asylum' which looks to be very bad for the health of the NBA. Within the next few years there could be 2-3 'super teams' while the remaining teams become the Washington Generals.

as long as Sloan is coach you won't see inmates running the asylum in Utah.

I'm smiling because Portland has a guy named Brandon Roy who didn't want to leave and how fortunate we are to have him. :D

I'd ship him out for some draft picks and build around Batum.

I'm going to assume you are joking funny man...

Absolute truth. Four or five teams of Globetrotters/Dream teamers = what for the small market guys?

Nothing like taking an overly confident, cocky team and knocking them to the ground in the playoffs. I guess preseason polls last year predicting Denver as the 2nd best team in the west were WRONG.

Yeah! It hasn't been covered in the news at all!

STFU. A Nuggets fan is apparently as annoying and ridiculous as the team.
