It's funny, I don't remember Russel being that good.

Stockton was carving them up though. and not a single crossover that I saw.

I miss that man.

Stockton was such a badass.

Even though he's not heavily featured at all here, this brought memories of how good Malone was flooding back. Man, just the sight of him makes me realize how comparably weak a player Boozer was for us (not to say he was bad; the difference between them is just so jarring).

That's not much of a cross over is it?

it seemed half of his assists came on the same play. don't other teams learn?

and 16 is good, but it wasn't his best. he averaged about 14 one year, didn't he?

Man I loved B-Russ in his prime! He was one of my favorite players. And Stockton was better with his minutes on the floor at 38 than any player currently at his position regardless of their age. He was just so freaking efficient and fearless....

Thanks for the vid, Purch!

LOL it definitely was not flashy, but hey if it got him past his man, it was effective enough.

I said the same thing when i was watching that!lol....Dude was on fire. Stockton always set the pace of the game. And its a shame they didnt get Starks and Stockton together earlier, because that is one cool combo.
