Amare's nickname is Black Jesus. We should call Earl Watson Black Lenin.

Fans would be crazy in love with Fes if he did that for 5-10 min a night.

If he can instill a little bit of his own attitude in the K-Fes the jackpotting dude would be a fairly nice player to watch.

I know. Honestly, even if his offense isn't going, I just want him playing because he seems to alter shots and clog the lane. He definitely looks better this year though, hoping he can continue to progress

Fes looks like a whole different player to me. In a good way.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Fes and AK looked great tonight. Pretty terrible game for both teams but saw glimpses of good things. Elson looked like a good fit too.

Pretty sloppy game. Fes was incredible. He looks focused. It's like he's finally taking thing seriously. Also, was it just me or Hayward played some great defense on Evans?

I was so angry that Utah actually resigned Fesenko.
So glad to be proven otherwise.

Hayward didn't let Evans drive past him. No easy task. I was fairly impressed.

He stepped weird going up for a lay up and his ankle gave out. He went in and got retaped and was originally going to come out and play the second half but opted not too after testing it out.
My guess is he'll be fine come opening night, the extra days off will be good for any swelling.

Allright! No more fake games! I think the Denver game will be fun. They have no defense, and we do at the moment.

Re: KINGS @ UTAH
A few quick things I noticed tonight...
AJ is looking very good. His pump fake is the best I have ever seen. I mean the move is just freaking sick! Defenders are faked out EVERY TIME. I was faked out just watching, wondering why he was taking that jumpshot, then bam, his defender blows by him and he goes straight to the hoop. Very very good skill to have, and will net him a TON of easy baskets. He also had some really nice moves around the basket (the runner in the lane was most impressive), and he locked down Cousins. The poor kid couldn't catch a break on either end, and was visibly very frustrated.
Watson does a pretty decent job of running the offense. He doesn't showboat and lose track of what he is doing like Gaines, which is very nice. I liked his game tonight.
Evans is one helluva fun dude to watch play basketball. I hope he gets some decent junk minutes this year.
Hayward had a tough game offensively. He is pressing and needs to find a natural rhythm. What I was impressed with was his hustle and defense. He got a lot of good rebounds, altered some passes, and pretty much shut down Evans in the 4th quarter. I don't know if Evans had just given up by then, but I'm telling you, this kid can defend. He is gritty, doesn't get beat on position easily, and stays in front of his man. He just needs to get his offense going...
Elson is a GREAT addition to this team. He is very active on both ends of the court. He will give us a real 7 foot guy that will be of value.
AK had a really great all around game.
And finally, Fes. The boy is looking more and more like a man every time I see him play. He is growing up, you can see it. His moves flowing naturally and are actually pretty damn good, and if he only plays <10 minutes a night, he can find times to use them when defenders really aren't expecting them. There were a couple times tonight when I was just elated to see what he did, and he was finishing! He is looking so much better than last year.
So, going into the regular season, things are looking good. The team seems to be clicking offensively. Al is a serious force to be reckoned with. I don't see anybody stopping him, his game is just on another level. He is defending pretty well, which is nice. The team is working well together. Nobody is trying to showboat or steal the show. CJ looks really good (the sprain won't be a big deal). This is going to at least be a really fun season to watch, and could be potentially great!

Word is, South Beach is ecstatic that they
won't be seeing Millsaps talents again this season...
