Great game for AK, this trade talk is defused by his performance tonight. Great interior defense as well.

We were fortunate to play Orlando the night after a tough late game in Portland.

I wish Deron played like this all the time. He pushed the ball up the floor HARD. Our defense always gets better the faster the tempo we play at.

Just when I start feeling like we can trade AK he goes out and throws down a monster game like this....

Orlando just looked tired. Jazz hit everything.

I thought Dwight looked disinterested. I wonder what's going on there.

The Jazz took care of business at home. Hope we can get a win in Dallas.

Oh, and i really love the vintage AK!

Looks like we caught a slumping Magic just as we caught a hot Heat team. You can see the difference in mentality, Orlando(mostly Howard) spent much of the night complaining instead of playing. Now onto the hot Dallas for rematch.

I think him getting some good bench time in the 2nd helped a lot. He has been playing way too many minutes, and it has been hurting his energy.

A few thoughts. This is a nice win, but not much more, since Orlando was obviously very tired from last night, and is the midst of a dismal losing streak. Not only that, but that Jazz should have seriously won this game by 30 points. I was getting so nervous at the last half of the 3rd quarter after the Jazz had built that great 15 pointish lead, and kept getting steals and blocks, but weren't making ANYTHING on the offensive end. They seriously should have scored 12 or so unanswered points on the Magic during that period, but were somehow completely inept on the offensive end, though they had massive momentum. That was concerning.

The other thing that concerned me was the lack of defense to end the game. This is something the Jazz ALWAYS do when they have a decent lead to close out a game. They just let the other team get wide open and keep it close enough that something crazy COULD happen. Thank goodness it didn't, but it is a problem.

Now, onto the good. This was the first game I can remember this season where the Jazz seriously brought it in all 4 quarters. Not only did they beat the Magic, but the score didn't show the demolishing experienced by Dwight courtesy our bigs. He was completely shut down for the 2nd half. I wonder if he has ever been blocked that many times in his life! Al was ALL OVER his shots, Elson, AK, and Sap all raped him savagely. It was a thing of beauty! If they can bring half that defensive intensity every night, we will be elite.

AK was incredible and had his best game of the season. THAT is what we get from a good AK, and he is a complete game changer that we can't trade. I though Sap was going to go for 40 again after the first half, but cooled off. That first half was incredible though, he was every bit as good as he was in the first Heat game. Al had an incredible defensive game, but also did we offensively. That is exactly what we need from him, he was perfect. DWill had an amazing 3rd quarter and showed he was the best player on the court tonight by far. CJ did what we need and more. Let's hope he can start some sort of streak of having good games.

Fun game to watch, at times frustrating, but glad the Jazz caught the Magic when they did. There were a couple times in the 4th where I said "oh crap, here they come", but it never happened. Nice win.

Word is, South Beach is ecstatic that they
won't be seeing Millsaps talents again this season...

it was really nice to see some interior defense. Jefferson, Millsap, AK >>> Okur, Boozer, Miles defensively.

This explains by Kirilenko struggled so badly against LeBron the other night.
