Raja vs Manu Flop Battle

Post#1 » by Millsap24 » Fri Jan 28, 2011 10:25 am

It's been such a bad week for us, so let's have a little laugh at the two of the greatest floppers in NBA history.

Raja flew like a fly that's just been swatted. Manu falling while Raja was already two feet away.

Raja definitely sold it a lot better than Manu. I thought the league was going to push back on flops like this. That Manu flop makes soccer look real.

At that point in the game the Jazz still had a chance to win. It was a bad play by Raja, as he initiated the flopping and forced the ref to make a call.

In that situation he needed to just play defense. I like Manu's leg kick at that end.

I would've loved to see a no-call there. That was a pretty pathetic play. Shame one of them had to get rewarded for their ridiculous bull.

I think it should be an automatic technical for players who put their head down and spear you in the chest or stomach the way floppers like Chris Paul and Manu do. Just like in the NFL...no spearing rule. All they are looking to do it throw their arms up and fall and make it look like they were hit.

Manu's greatness (and he is great, no doubt) in my mind will always be tainted by his relentless flopping and pussy-ass play.
